Mental health is the state of mind that includes emotional, psychological and social wellbeing. It affects how we think, feel and act. Mental health also means the level of psychological well-being or an absence of mental illness. As well as while we make our mental health priority; being mentally healthy is the state of someone who is “functioning at a satisfactory level of emotional and behavioral adjustment”. Mental health is very important in every stages of life. It determines your perception to life and everything around you. It’s very crucial to make your mental health our priority.
Many people especially in Asian countries, still think mental illness isn’t really a disease. They believe it is like every other trend following by developed nations. Most of mental problems arise due to stress, overthinking and worrying. “It is in the head” which means that positive or negative thoughts bring positive or negative experiences into a person’s life.
People are being cruel and selfish. But take a PAUSE and a deep breath and analyze what you really need. A little smile, a flower, a good morning text that can make someone’s day.
Its okay to feel sad. Its okay to sleep few extra minutes. Its okay to take a break. We all need love and care to nourish ourselves and become a person spiritually.
We got to talk about what is bothering us and let go of the regrets of the past and worries about future. Being kind and empathetic doesn’t cost anything. Check on that friend who recently had a breakup, call your parents and tell them that you love them, listen to your grandpa’s stories etc.
We all face storm that completely ruin and change us. Its life. Get up stronger, seek help, don’t worry about what others will think of you. Happiness increases when you share among your circle. Do little things for the people you love, show that you care.
