MEAL Officer | WAC-Nepal | ngo jobs 2023: Working for Access and Creation Nepal (WAC-Nepal) is a nonprofit, nonpolitical and non-governmental organization working on education, health and livelihood for creating prosperous society. WAC-Nepal has been implementing Pathways to Wellbeing, Empowerment and Resilience for Adolescents and Youths (POWER 4 AY) project in partnership with Save the Children in Achham. The project has been implementing in Mangelsen Municipality and Panchadewal Binanyak Municipality of Achham District. WAC-Nepal is seeking qualified, dynamic and motivated Nepali citizens on following positions for smooth implementation of the project.

Position: MEAL Officer

Required No: 1 Person

Minimum Qualification and experience for MEAL Officer | WAC-Nepal | ngo jobs 2023

Bachelor’s degree in social science or development studies.
Minimum of 3 years, (2 years for GESI group*) Experience on MEAL in the field of development, Education andSDRR Management project.
Good understanding of MEAL Approach, Humanitarian context, Empowering and Advocacy issues in Nepal/ District.
Strong analytical skills and understanding of MEAL framework, tools and indicator settings.
Evidence based monitoring and evaluation frameworks and programs, with emphasis on participatory and partnership MEAL approaches.
Good computer skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, experience on web-based database management system,
Experience on data collection, Effective written and oral communications skills.
Knowledge on MEAL plan and log frame, produce database, monitoring and interpretation skill, presentation skills in different forum and network.
Good presentation and reporting skills,
Ability to work under pressure,
Develop tools to collect the information against project indicator,
Demonstrate collaboration & team building skills, Confidence to represent in district,
Fluency in both spoken and written English and good report writing skills.

Major responsibility: Overall responsibilities of Monitoring Evaluation Accountability and Learning (MEAL) activities under POWER4AY Project, carry out monitoring and assessment as per MEAL plan and budget implementation on MEAL activities, and conduct field monitoring, ensure QBM, record the findings, feedback and complaints on OPMIS , coordinate with program team to solve the findings, handle toll free, provide proper feedback to team for the improvement of quality of activities, beneficiary database management; collect beneficiary data from the field, support to team to conduct annual indicator survey, baseline, Mid-term evaluation and end line survey,operational research, orientation to stakeholders and beneficiary about MEAL system, Share accountability message with stakeholders and beneficiaries. Ensure transparency and accountability learning and good practices together with program team.
