As per the decision of the Government of Nepal dated 2074.10.10, the Ministry of Social Development of Karnali Province, which was established to cover seven working areas, has been established in the building of the former District Public Health Office, Surkhet on 2074.11.2. Hon’ble Minister Dal Rawal has assumed office as the departmental minister of this ministry on 2074.11.6. As per the decision of the Council of Ministers of the Government of Nepal dated 2074-10-10, a total of 31 temporary posts have been sanctioned in this Ministry except for the unclassified employees. However, the work of the ministry has been smooth. As per the Karnali Pradesh Government Division of Labor Rules 2074 approved as per the decision of Karnali Pradesh Government dated 2074.11.6, this Ministry has 58 responsibilities. The ministry covers 10 districts, 79 local levels, 25 municipalities and 54 village municipalities.
