Position Title:Research Officer
Working Days: 5 days a week, Monday – Friday (On-site)
Contract: Full-time
Job Description:
- Represent the organization with client, where and as required / coordinate with project personnel for collaboration on applicable work
- Ensure proper archiving of materials and content
- Develop proposals and support documents
- Develop research tools / questionnaire as per indicators / logical framework
- Provide translation of tools, where required
- Facilitate and organize training / workshop / dissemination
- Coordinate and provide real time review of field level operations
- Perform data analysis, cleaning and visual outputs
- Synthesize and collate field information (both qualitative and quantitative)
- Develop organized, visually clear, and professionally formatted draft and final reports
- Meet deadline/timeline at all times and strictly follow privacy policy of organization
- Ensure organization branding across all deliverable
- Work in a fast-paced setting and be able to multitask
- Other as assigned by team members

Skills/Requirements:
- Excellent English and Nepali skills for communication and writing
- Proficient in research methodology and writing
- Good proficiency in evaluation and critical analysis
- Masters preferred from a relevant field of study for research and development
- 2-3 years’ experience in a research company or firm
- Excellent computing and formatting skills; MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, email, etc.
- Good skills in mobile data collection application and statistical tools
- Able to multi-task handling and juggle different roles at the same time
- Able to work absolutely independently with minimal supervision
- Honest and dedicated to the organization’s values
