In cooperation with Nepal Government, Ministry of Health and Population, Bhaktapur Municipality, National and International Rotary Club, Nepal Cancer Prevention Organization and various social organizations. Established as a community hospital in the year 2051 and has been providing quality treatment to cancer patients across Nepal, a strange situation has been created and on the proposal of the Ministry of Health and Population, the Council of Ministers meeting held on 24th Kartik 2077 approved the formation order 2077 of the Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital Development Committee under the Ministry of Health and Population. The service is being operated from 123 beds. Currently, a full-time DM is being studied in medical oncology from the National Institute of Medical Sciences in this hospital. Also, MD resident doctors in Radiation Oncology and Gynecology Oncology are posted for cancer specialist training and study. Likewise, MD resident doctors and graduate and post graduate nursing students from medical educational institutions affiliated to Kathmandu University and Tribhuvan University come for experimental practice.
