INF Nepal is currently working in health and community development service in Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpashim provinces of Nepal. INF Nepal Green Pasture Hospital (GPH), Pokhara, serving peoples with specialized treatment and rehabilitation services in leprosy, dermatology, spinal cord injuries & other neglected trauma, ear car, palliative care etc. is looking for qualified, skilled, service oriented and committed Nepali citizens who share our vision, missions and values.

Purpose of the Job:

The job holder is responsible for managing and supervising the Day Therapy programmes and contributing to their growth and sustainability within the overall context of Palliative Care service development ensuring a no harm approach.

Required Qualifications, Skills and knowledge:

Minimum 10+2/ Intermediate education. Appropriate health or counselling qualification is desirable.
Previous experience in counselling and/or working with clients is preferred.
Experience is Heath Care setting is preferred.
Knowledge and experience in program coordination is an advantage.
Ability to take initiative and work independently, but collaborate within a team.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Client- oriented approach and ability to liaise with patients, families and other care providers.
Ability to co-design and implement programs in collaboration with relevant departments to promote wellness is an advantage.
Ability to facilitate creative therapeutic interventions is an advantage.
Ability to provide training, support and guidance to volunteers to achieve required outcomes will be preferred.
Fluency in oral and written in both Nepali/ English.
Experience with record keeping and data collection, basic computer skills (MS Word/ Excel/ PowerPoint) is desirable.

Position: Staff Nurse

Location: GPH, Pokhara

Purpose of the Job:

Promotes and restores patients’ health by completing the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families; supervising assigned team members in GPH.

Required Qualifications, Skills and knowledge:

PCL Nursing with NNC Registration.
1 year’s post graduate experience of general nursing.
Identify patient care requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual patients and other persons in a position to understand care requirements.
Create compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends and families.
Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
Maintain patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
To assist in Doctor’s rounds and carry out further intervention.
Provide health education to the patient and relatives.
Support in charge Nurse to maintain the quality of care, statistic and supplies and inventory.
Perform any other duty allotted to her by In Charge Nurse/ Nursing Superintendent when necessary.
