Helen Keller International announces vacancy for Resource Person | HKI | ingo jobs. It is an International non-profit organization (INGO) working in health and nutrition in Nepal since 1989 to improve the nutritional status of women and young children through evidence-based research and programs. Helen Keller International, CARE, FHI 360, Nepali Technical Assistance Group (NTAG), Digital Broadcast Initiative Equal Access (DBIEA), Environment and Public Health Organization (ENPHO), Vijaya Development Resource Center (VDRC) together are implementing USAID funded Suaahara II Program in 42 districts. Applications are invited from interested, committed, dynamic team players and experienced Nepali nationals for the following position.

This position will be responsible to support selected Health Office (HO), Provincial Health Directorate (PHD) and Child Health and Immunization Section (CHIS) to ensure key messages dissemination and tracking of vaccine stock and its supply; support for need assessment of RCCE materials as per the requirement in HO/PHD/CHS; coordinate with HO/PHD/CHS and other agencies for the timely SBC materials preparation and delivery of vaccination against CoVID 19; prepare supply plan, recording and reporting of vaccination to HO/PHD/CHS; undertake gap analysis of targeted populations and actual vaccinated; provide technical support to the health offices at the districts for the timely vaccine supply and ensure the reporting; provide functional level support HO/PHD/CHIS in regard to CoVID 19 vaccination; and work under the direct supervision of the Suaahara II Program Coordinator in the stationed district; and with Senior Program Manager for Integrated Nutrition in Kathmandu.

Educational qualifications and experiences for Resource Person | HKI | ingo jobs

Bachelors’ degree in Public Health; 3 years of work experience including in COVID-19 and other epidemics; context proactive and capable to work with minimum supervision; knowledge on supply chain management; good coordination skills among government and non-government agencies; and strong skill in data management, reporting and recording
