Position: Senior Program Officer-Champions of Change Package Contextualization (A Social Behavior Change Communication Package)
Skill Information Society Nepal (SISo Nepal) established in 2003, a national level non-governmental, non- political and non-profit organization is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Program Officer for Contextualization of English Modules developed for Social Behavior Change Communication to develop competency among adolescent and young people of diverse society of Nepal; into Nepali language including adaptation and development of new modules on DRR, WASH and climate change. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The key responsibilities but not limited to includes document review and contextualization (translation of English document into Nepali language, develop contextualized into Nepali language) of Champions of Change (CoC) modules, facilitate review meetings and finalization workshop, revise incorporating feedback and pre-test of the Nepali Modules ensuring alignment while addressing local context along with facilitation of MTOT in close collaboration and coordination with the project team.
- Work in collaboration with local partners, community leaders, and beneficiaries to ensure project activities are socio-culturally contextual, inclusive, and sustainable.
- Develop and implement M&E tools and strategies to track progress and measure impact, build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Represent the project and organization professionally in public settings.
Qualifications: Master Degree in Public Health or equivalent related field with 3 years of experience in program development, implementation; and monitoring and evaluation in the public health sector. Preferred experience working in a similar project context. Background in General medicine/nursing would be an added value. Strong understanding of participatory methodologies and community engagement, excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills along with the excellent proficiency in Nepali and English (reading, writing and typing) with proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Selection Process: Written test and Interview. Facilities: As per the approved plan.
Contract Details: Initially six-month contract with the possibility of renewal based on performance.
