Progress Inc. Pvt. The organization works in various sectors including gender, education, governance, livelihood, DRR, WASH, and more.
Position Title:Field Researcher
Contract: Short-term
Job Description
- Attend training and piloting of tools
- Apt at both quantitative and qualitative data collection; or oversee other collectors
- Liaise with other team members for purpose of work
- Able to handle multiple work at the same time
- Good knowledge about gender and social inclusion and child protection related projects
- Conduct data collection through field visit for projects
- Support in field notes/report
- Other as required and as assigned by team leader
- Able to use mobile based data collection applications
Specification
- Excellent communication and understanding of English and Nepali
- Able to easily use tablets and laptops for work
- Minimum 1-2 years of data collection experience
- Prior qualitative and quantitative data collection (both skills) experience in rural Nepal
- Good understanding of data collection
- Will have to travel to rural areas of Nepal with basic amenities (Those who are not open to field travel for work purpose or scared of districts outside Kathmandu valley: Do not apply)
- Able to work with minimal supervision
