NPHSS presents Inter-college Public Health Futsal and Quiz Competition

Nepal Public Health Student’s Society(NPHSS) is a student-based organization controlled and administered by public health students of IOM. Since its establishment, it has been conducting programs to enhance the capacity of public health students. Continuing this core function of NPHSS, the newly formed body of NPHSS is organizing an intercollege public health Futsal tournament and quiz competition in which all the students of public health from all the colleges and universities can be part. 

On the short call with Prakash Adhikari, president of NPHSS, he mentioned,” The main aim of organizing these programs is to connect all the public health students of Nepal. We are trying to increase fellowship and interaction between the students of Public health from various colleges of different universities.” He also thanked all the partners that have joined hands to support NPHSS to organise these programs and also called for other partners to help in any way possible. Adhikari also requested all the students of public health to be part of these programs and help to make a grand success.

 The intercollege quiz competition is scheduled for 12 of Bhadra to be held at IOM, Teaching Hospital. Manjari Shrestha; the chief coordinator, and her team have already been actively working on the program preparation. The registration fee for the intercollege quiz competition has been set for Nrs. 3000 for 1 team,  Nrs 4500 for 2 teams, and Nrs 6000 for 3 teams. Similarly, the futsal tournament is scheduled for 13 of Bhadra which is to be held at Samakhusi Futsal. The team of chief coordinators; Raju Chand Thakuri, is working for the smooth conduction of the futsal tournament. The registration fee for the futsal is set for Nrs 4000 for boys and 3000 for girls. Both the registration fees are to be submitted to the bank account of the Treasurer of NPHSS; Sadhichha Dhungel, 00210013649019 (Sunrise Bank Limited).

From the date of the announcement of the programs, many supporting partners have come forward in support. Nepal Health magazine as a communication partner, Pampha pharmacy as a First aid partner, Safal publication house Pvt. Ltd as a publication partner, Dreamland Abroad Education Pvt. Ltd as an Education partner, and CB International Consultancy as a consultancy partner will be supporting the programs.
