(Vacancy for GESI Officer | HuRENDEC | ngo jobs )Human Rights and Environment Development Centre (HuRENDEC) Nepal, Kalikot has been established in Kalikot and working in Karnali region for more than 2 decade.The organization has been working on need based action orientated multi-disciplinary areas through social mobilization especially focusing on human rights, livelihood, micro enterprise, infrastructure, climate change, cash for work, lobby/advocacy, empowerment, disaster management, natural resource management and eco friendly infrastructure.

With contigent on funding, HuRENDEC Kalikot is going to start the “Building Hope Along Karnali River Basin (BHAKARI) Program in partnership with Mercy Corps Nepal. The project will be implemented in 5 municipalities of Kalikot district. The duration of project is 3 years. The project aims to increase household level food availability, improve access and sustainability of water supplies for productive purposes and reduce the impacts of natural disasters in Kalikot district. Minimum Qualification and Experience

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in social science or development studies, Masters degree will be preferred. At least 3 years of experience working with I/NGO in the field of GESI mainstreaming into development programming.
