Shankarapur Hospital is located in eastern part of Kathmandu that covers more than 19 VDC of Kathmandu District. Not only this, certain northern part of Bhaktapur District & western part of Sindhupalchok District are getting direct health care facility from the hospital, thus directly catering half a million populations health care needs as there are no other general hospital of this nature in this area.
Its main aim is to provide cost effective health care services to large no. of people based on modern health care technologies along with health education and employment and opportunities. It is also dedicated towards carrying out research and developmental activities for the development of new treatment and technique.
