Staff Nurse | OCH | latest jobs vacancy 2024;Okhaldhunga Community Hospital (OCH) is a rural hospital (officially 50 beds), to the east of Kathmandu, one day’s journey by vehicle. We provide hospital services to our surrounding communities – general medicine and surgery, orthopaedics, paediatrics, dentistry, obstetrics, and gynaecology. The Emergency Room is open 24 hours a day, seven days per week. The hospital is a referral centre for the district’s health posts, with referrals also coming from surrounding districts. Traumatic fractures, road traffic accidents and general trauma are seen frequently.
Position: Staff Nurse (Few)
Grade level: 4 – 5
Main Role:
Work as a member of the Emergency Room, ICU & wards team in the care of patients presenting to OCH. Participate in the wards as per duty roster. From time to time, also work in the Outpatients Department of the hospital.
Qualifications:
Proficiency Certificate Level in Nursing recognised by CTEVT Nepal.
Preferred Experience:
Newly graduated PCL Nursing are also welcome to apply.
One or two years of working in a hospital, would be an advantage.
