Vacancy for Staff Nurse, Lab Assistant, ANM 2021 : The area of Kanchanrup Municipality is 143.33 sq. Km. It has a population of 63,556. It is located at an altitude of 75 to 300 meters above sea level. Ten VDCs of Savik They are composed of Piprapurva, Dhodhanpur, Jagatpur, Kanchanpur, Rupnagar, Badagama, Thelia, Dharampur, Baramjhiya and Bairba. This municipality has been declared as per the decision of the Council of Ministers of the Government of Nepal dated 25th April, 2071 BS and 22nd March, 2073 BS (May 8, 2014 and March 5, 2017). Shaptakoshi (Koshitappu Wildlife Sanctuary) in the east and Krishnasabaran village in the west. And Tirhut V.P., Saptakoshi N.P. in the north. And Hanumannagar Kankalini N.P. on the border of Udaipur district and in the south. Are The East-West Highway has cut through the middle of the municipality while the Fatehpur-Bhardaha-Rajbiraj road has also cut through the middle. Ward No. 1 has been formed by merging Ward No. 1-9. Ward No. 3-6 of Baramjhiya VDC and VDC of Badagama. Ward No. 2 has been formed by merging wards 5 and 6 of the district. Ward No. 3 has been constructed by merging 1,2,7-9 of Baramjhiya VDC and Ward No. 7 of Theliya VDC. Similarly, all the wards of Jagatpur VDC have been merged to form Ward No. 4. Ward No. 5 has been established by merging all the wards east of Pipra. Ward No. 6 has been established in 1-6 wards of Dhodhanpur VDC. Ward No. 7 has been established by merging 1-5 wards of Dharampur VDC and 7 and 8 wards of Dhodhanpur VDC. Ward No. 8 has been constructed by merging all the wards of Kanchanpur VDC in one place. Ward No. 9 has been formed by combining 5,6,8,9 of Rupnagar VDC and 6,7,9 of Dharampur VDC. In Badaga, the group of all the wards except 5 and 6 of VDC has been made ward no. 10. The municipality has been formed by merging all the wards except ward no. 1-4,7 of S. and Ward No. 8 of Dharampur VDC, Dhodhanpur VDC.
The former half of Kanchanpur is named after the name of Kanchanpur VDC of Savik and the name of Rupnagar VDC is combined with the name of the first form (Kanchan + Rup). It is said to have been transformed into Kanchanpur and currently the office of the municipality is in operation at Kanchanpur Barrier. Similarly, it is said that Rupnagar is called Rupnagar because the lava army with elephants and horses looks good.
