Working Arrangement
The work station is Bodgaun Medical Centre, Sindupalchowk (1.5 Hours from Kathamndu)
You need to stay at least 25 days per month in the working station
The running hours of the Medical Centre are from 9:00 to 17:00 with an hour of Lunch break in mid-day. But, the center accepts emergency cases at any hour. You will have to be available to perform in those cases at any time.

Specific Roles

On duty for the emergency department (Day & Night)
In-patient monitoring, assessment, prescription of medicines and treatment orders, and interpretation of laboratory results/investigations
Minor surgical procedures (i.e. sutures, I&D, debridement of wounds, Cast and Slab application for fractures and dislocations)
Provide counseling services i.e. addictions/psychiatric, family planning, antenatal, postnatal, etc.
Assisting and coordinating with visiting interdisciplinary health professionals
Engaging in health promotion and teaching activities in community and school

Specific Characteristics:

Acquiring preventive, primitive, and curative health care
Good knowledge of USG and X-RAY is preferred
Interpersonal communication skills and good and warm relationships with patients, locals, and the Jay Nepal team are mandatory

Location: Sindhupalchwok (Accommodation provided)
Position period: Initial period of 3 Months (with the possibility of extension)
