Looking at its geographical situation, Kachankawal rural municipality in Dikshana is connected to the plain land of Haldiwari rural municipality in the north, Virtamed and Kankai municipalities in the north, and Jhapa rural municipality in the west. This rural municipality is located at an altitude of 77 meters to 123 meters above sea level. The total area of this rural municipality is 80.04 km2 and the total population is 39622. This rural municipality is divided into 7 wards. In which there are Rajgarh (Ward No. 1,2,3) on the south side and Chakachki (Ward No. 4, 5) on the other side, similarly Dagibari (Ward No. 6, 7) are there. People of different castes and different religions live in this rural municipality. In the southern part, there is a majority of tribal tribes, while in the central and northern parts, there is a majority of other castes. Most of the population of this rural municipality is involved in agriculture and some of the population is also involved in business. Rajgarh market is located in the southern part of this rural municipality, while Chakachki market is located in the central part and Dagibari market is located in the northern part. There are a total of 16 community and 13 institutional schools and 5 health centers within this municipality. The community and institutional schools located within this rural municipality have made the children in this rural municipality accessible to education, while the healthy chaikis located here have arranged medical treatment for the local residents in an accessible manner.
