Medical Centre Assistant | GWT(N) | nursing jobs 2022 :The Gurkha Welfare Trust Nepal (GWT (N)) invites applications from suitably qualified and interested applicants for the following position:

Position: Medical Centre Assistant (MCA)

Duty Station: Based in Key Area Welfare Centre Clinics in Dharan and Damak

No. of vacancy/s: 2

Duration: The job is offered for 3 years initially and may be extended on the basis of need and performance.

Required Qualifications/Experience and Skills:

• PCL nursing/ HA with at least 1-year relevant work experience in a health care environment
• Alternatively minimum technical SLC (ANM/ CMA) with at least 5 years relevant experience
• Current unrestricted registration with the appropriate Nepal Health Professional Council
• Basic spoken and good written communication skills in English and native speaker level Nepali
• Sound IT skills (basic Excel, Word, PowerPoint as a minimum)
• Working knowledge and application of relevant Country legislation governing medical practice

Job Responsibilities:

The MCA will be responsible to perform routine administrative and clinical tasks to keep the Medical Centres running smoothly. This includes among other tasks: Answering telephones, triaging calls, and generally serving as a primary point of contact for patients, Reception Management: All visitors are received promptly and courteously; Waiting Room management: monitoring to ensure that patients with any emergency conditions receive prompt care; Updating and filing patients’ medical records, scheduling appointments, arranging for hospital admission and laboratory services.

Remunerations:

The position falls in EG02 of our pay structure and will receive a basic monthly salary of NPR.48,858. All other benefits and facilities will be provided as per GWT(N) Policies and Procedures.
