The key treatment of PCOS is regular physical activity, eating healthy foods and weight control. Some women may be prescribed to take birth control pills to regulate their menstrual cycles.

Lack of awareness about PCOS and its symptoms lead to late diagnosis. So, it is necessary to sensitize people about PCOS and its complications through television, social media, newspapers, pamphlets etc for its early diagnosis and prompt treatment.
